Terms and Conditions:

A legal disclaimer

The explanations and information provided on the website or in this document are Terms and Conditions (also referred to as ‘Terms’ or ‘Terms and Conditions’ or ‘T&C’ or ‘T&Cs’) set by SDS Photography (‘we’, ‘us’ ‘SapnaAndSophie.com’, this website), that’s been created for the use of the trainees who want to enroll on the trainings and workshops listed on the website (browsers, clients and freelancers and so on). The terms and conditions outlined in this document are a set of legally binding terms to be accepted by all trainees before any participation or payment occurs. The T&Cs set forth are the legal boundaries that govern the activities, exchanges and engagements between trainees and Sapna and Sophie Wedding Photographers for the period during and after until any transaction or exchange resulting directly as a result of training/s are fully completed. The terms are also used as a guideline during exchange between trainees and Sapna and Sophie Wedding Photography team. Any complaints will be dealt with in accordance with terms.

Trainees:

Submitting their details, request or payment is required to be at least 18 years of age.
Must bring and produce their photo IDs on the day for proof of age.
Must bring their camera, SD cards, speedlight, waterproof bag, notebook and pen.
Must not use mobile phones during the workshop, and also not take photos of trainers and other participants without permission.
Are willing to travel to the venue advertised.
Must accept the weather conditions on the day as it is beyond anyone’s control.
Must wear appropriate and comfortable clothing and footwear (carry a waterproof jacket).
Must behave respectfully towards all other trainees and the trainers.
Must never be rude to anyone (this will result in trainee being asked to leave the premises).
Must not interfere with the training process.
Must not give their opinion that may cause offence to others.
Must not discuss or share any inappropriate content during the training.
Must not arrive intoxicated at the training (this will result in entry being denied).
Must be fit and healthy to carry their camera gear.
Must accept if any training materials have been adapted to suit the current trends.
Must accept all responsibility for the safety of their gear and personal health and safety.
Must accept being recorded and published during the workshop for marketing purposes on photographer’s website and social media platforms.
Must not bring guests.
Must accept that the date of the training day is subject to change, so trainees must confirm date before starting the journey to the training venue.
Arrive on time as trainer will not start over the session as this causes inconvenience to others.
Must not request refund for cancellation.
May request a future date for workshop in lieu of cancellation, but that will be provided subject to availability and at the discretion of the team. If possible, an additional fee of £55 for Central London Shoot and £100 for Richmond shoot will be incurred.
Must accept that the workshop can sometimes get cancelled due to unforeseeable circumstances. If this happens, then the trainees will be offered a date in the future, usually within 8 weeks. Only if we cannot accommodate the trainee in future workshops as they might be fully booked, then a refund can be issued).
Must only use photos they have taken, and not use any from the lead photographer’s website.
Must be willing to share photos with one-another and the trainers for feedback.
Must be willing to tag one another and the trainers on their social media channels, as this also helps in the trainee’s own promotion.
